Omana Eve_edited_edited_edited.jpg

The strong intention that I hold and weave into every offering, is to connect and strengthen my client to their inner knowing, their empowerment and potential. I meet those I work with wherever they are and empathically guide them to reconnect to their true self, authenticity, and power to create a life that they desire.

My own journey through life has led me to some difficult places. I understand suffering from both physical and mental pain. I've lost deeply, and found the strength to carry on, and to rise above what has held me back from the light that shines within. I've learned to find joy, even alongside the most difficult times of life.

I've relentlessly continued on a healing journey through chronic fatigue, chronic pain, autoimmunity, anxiety, depression, injury, allergies... I've learned to identify the false identities of 'I'm Alone', 'I'm Too Much', 'I'm Not Loved', 'I'm Worthless'. I've transformed these beliefs into 'I'm Connected', 'I'm Brilliant', 'I'm Beloved', and 'I Am Worthy of the Best Life has to Offer'.

Now that I know my worth, I've overcome the years of suffering. I'm free of chronic pain, released from the grips of anxiety, uplifted from depression, and catalysed from fatigue. While I continue to work on myself, releasing the years of burden from my body; I am finally able to unleash my full potential into the world and guide others to do the same. It brings me such joy.

I've dedicated myself to learning from the best

Andrew Perzigian
Acupuncture Works

I graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco in 2011. Upon graduation, I opened a private practice, Wellness Workshop SF and soon joined forces with Acupuncture Kitchen, what was then San Francisco’s preeminent fertility-based practice. After years working almost solely on women’s health and fertility, I needed a change of pace and completed an orthopedic acupuncture apprenticeship program under the guidance of Whitfield Reeves in 2015.

Acupuncture Works offers acupuncture and herbal medicine consultations that integrate classical Chinese diagnosis with western medical science. The clinic founder, Andrew Perzigian, brings his experience running and working in San Francisco clinics to the Nelson-Tasman region. He has extensive experience treating digestive, mood and women’s health disorders and has completed apprenticeships in classical pulse diagnosis and orthopaedic acupuncture for the treatment of acute and chronic pain.

Rose Aitken

Trauma Informed Coaching, Wellness & Nutritional Coaching, Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy & Body Work

Rose Aitken_edited.jpg

Younger years beset with challenges, trauma, anxiety and despair sent me down a destructive path which I struggled to get off of for a long time. I experienced abandonment, neglect, isolation, eating-disorders, extreme anxiety, difficult family relationships and adult relationships and I even self-medicated to handle my feelings of shame and self-hatred.

This was despite having strong feelings of wanting to reach my potential, live my life free and autonomously and knowing that I must be able to dwell harmoniously in the world and take charge of my life and purpose.

Despite reading my first self-help book at 14 and continuing to fill my brain with knowledge for many years to come, it wasn’t until I found a spiritual life coaching program in 2013, that things started to go in a different direction for me. It turned out that my curiosity and dedication to learning would create a foundation that would serve me well.

I’ve since become a Coach, Body Process facilitator, Educator, Compassionate Inquiry (trauma informed) Therapist, Hypnotherapist and am working towards a Certificate of Mental Health and Nutrition. I am studying Clinical Psychology and training as a Psychotherapist whilst building my practice.

I have worked long and hard to overcome many wellness issues such as CFS, Raynauds and fibromyalgia, a hell of a menopause journey and persistent injuries which have resulted in two years of pain and suffering. These setbacks have ultimately been my biggest sources of my transformation into the version of me I have been asking for.

I am a big believer in epigenetics and using nutrition, mindfulness, supplementation, exercise, spirituality and self-inquiry and healthy connection with others to build a base from which the body and mind can shift and we can embody our best selves.

All these methodologies & the beautiful facilitators and therapists I’ve worked with have helped me integrate my wounds into wisdom, enabling me to serve you in my life’s work and practice.

I can assist you with:

  • Healing trauma

  • Seeing where you brilliance/capacities lie, so you can begin the work to embody these.

  • Helping you understand yourself and your patterns and release them

  • Create a new physiology/wellness through supplementation, diet, exercise & other practices

  • Short term & long term Interpersonal Dynamic Psychotherapy

  • Hypnotherapy used in conjunction with an overall plan to achieve your goals

  • Parts therapy used in conjunction with hypnosis

  • Long term dynamic life coaching & facilitation to help you get off the timeline you are currently on and get onto another

  • Manifesting – I originally trained as a manifestation coach & I love combining this approach with healing trauma & positive psychology to help you create the life of your dreams

  • Long term coaching packages to help you embody your greatness

Jen Holmes-Beamer
Psychotherapy & Embodied Healing

Mind-body practices and yoga are an important part of Jen's healing journey, inspiring her to train as a yoga teacher, yoga therapist and trauma-sensitive yoga facilitator through the Centre for Trauma and Embodiment.

Jen has developed and facilitated yoga as healing programs within community mental health programs, psychiatric units, community agencies and non-profit organisations in Canada and NZ since 2016.

For the past four years, Jen has developed and facilitated fully funded body-based group therapy programs under ACC Sensitive Claims & The Nelson Clinic for survivors of sexual violence in Nelson; holding space to re-connect with the body after trauma. As a psychotherapist and sensitive claims provider, she offers a gentle and intuitive approach to her one-to-one and group programs.

The body, mind and spirit are connected. When we find space, we can restore a deeper connection with ourselves and listen to the deeper meaning within the messages of our inner world to find hope and healing.

Courtney Vercoe
Tekora Massage Therapy

Photo 1.jpg

In 2011, I studied at ANCB College in Australia, where I earned my diploma in Beauty Therapy. It was during this time that I was first introduced to massage, specifically Swedish and hot stone techniques. I quickly developed a passion for massage, and over the years, it became the focus of my practice. As I found myself choosing massage over other treatments, I realised this was the path I wanted to pursue as a career.

In 2019, I took a break when I moved countries and started a family. Now, I live in sunny Nelson with my family of three, cherishing every moment. While I love my role as a mother, I also wanted to reignite my career—seeking a balance between professional fulfilment and family life.

At the end of 2023, I founded Tekora Massage Therapy. Eager to expand my skills, I discovered Holistic Massage and studied at Holistic Health Training. From the very first lesson, everything clicked into place. Holistic massage goes beyond addressing physical discomfort; it focuses on working with the individual to restore balance and harmony between the body and mind, promoting both comfort and relaxation.

I currently offer relaxation and deep tissue massages with a holistic approach, and I am committed to continuing my education to offer additional services in the future.

I support individuals and partners to have a more fulfilling sex life and intimacy. Whether you’re facing a specific sexual challenge, want to deepen intimacy in your relationship, or simply want to develop your lovemaking skills, I’m here to guide you with compassion and care. Radically different from traditional talk therapy, my holistic approach bridges the gap between mind and body. Drawing on the latest research in neuroscience and sexual psychology, our sessions together will combine conversation, educational components, and experiential learning. You will not just come to have a better understanding of yourself, but will be able to fully integrate and embody that knowledge in your everyday life.

I offer two types of sessions:

Sexological Bodywork - A highly effective form of somatic sexology and sex education that focuses on helping you overcome sexual challenges and access more pleasure with yourself and others.

Intimacy Coaching - Explores the emotional and physical aspects of partnered intimacy. Improve your communication skills, understand each others’ desires and boundaries, and build a better love life together.

Jo Van Rensburg

Back Up and Running Massage

Photo 1.jpg
photo for website_edited.jpg

Jo and her husband relocated to Nelson in 2024, from North Canterbury. They are loving the relaxed vibe and plenty of outdoor activities around the region and of course the sunshine!! She now brings her massage skills to Nelson offering both remedial massage and Manual lymphatic Drainage. Having worked in a large multi-practise clinic in Christchurch she has a wealth of knowledge and experience, but also knows when alternative treatment may be more appropriate. She is one of a few registered massage therapists in the region.

Jo’s passion for massage stems from her love of running, having been a competitive runner for over 35 years, currently competing in both track and cross country events at a international level in the masters grade. Personal experience has reinforced the importance of regular massage for both rehabilitation after injuries and regular maintenance, to perform at the highest level.

Whilst she has a love for working with athlete's, the benefits of receiving massage to correct muscle imbalances and relieve pain is something all people can benefit from. Along with providing remedial treatments, Jo also specialises in Manual lymphatic Drainage. This treatment is especially beneficial for clients struggling with lymphedema and Lipedema but can also provide relief to people struggling with fatigue, sinusitis, arthritis, headaches and migraines. A detailed discussion with Jo will determine the best course of treatment to suit your ailments.

Outside of the clinic Jo loves escaping to the countryside for camping weekends with her hubby, playing Disc golf, as well as her regular runs. Jo has also coached athletics for the past 10 years, becoming an accredited coach for athletics N.Z, looking after the children's and junior section for her old club.
